FLAG RAISING CEREMONY

The tradition and pageantry of the flag raising ceremony perpetuates.

Opening:
All Teams will parade with their State/Province/Country Flag. Everyone stands at attention during the playing of the three National Anthems and the raising of the three Countries flags. The raising of the flags and playing of the different national anthems gives the girls not only a chance to show pride for their country, but also to welcome the other countries represented. The raising of the Girls Junior Americas Cup flag marks the official opening of the matches.

Closing:
As in the Opening Ceremony, each Team will parade with their Flag. An Expression of Thanks is extended to the Host Association and for their effort in making the Girls Junior Americas Cup possible. The lowering of the Girls Junior Americas Cup flag marks the official closing of the matches.
