Arizona Women's Golf Association

The Golf Summit of Arizona will be held on March 16th at the Arizona Biltmore. It's hosted by the Cactus and Pine Golf Course Superintendents and the U.S.G.A. and will take place from 8:00 AM until 4:00 PM. The subjects are varied and interesting for all who love golf. Take an active role in the topics relating to golf in 2005. Mary Long, Executive Director of the AWGA, will be one of the speakers highlighting "Arizona Trends and Opportunities." The 40th Annual Phoenix Metro Women's Golf Championship will be held at Papago Golf Course on April 1-3. Any female amateur golfer with a USGA Approved handicap index no greater than 32.4 is eligible. The format is 54 holes stroke play with a field limited to 112 entrants and will be flighted according to handicap. The entry fee is $40 which does not include daily green fees or cart fee which is payable at the Pro Shop each day of play. Entry must be postmarked by March 21st. Questions? Long term, we addressing the issue by doing a complete redesign of our website, which will not only make the site more user friendly and informational, but will also minimize these kinds of loading problems by more effective use of the latest programming technology. The new site is expected to be up and running not later than March 1st.
