Thank you for your interest in the Education
and Training Committee.
The following is the official structure
and purpose for this committee:
The Education and Training Committee
supports the technical education of members, staff,
and volunteers by assisting committees with seminars,
presentations, testing and new educational program development.
Time commitments can vary, depending
upon your personal interest and desire for involvement,
but at a minimum, you will need to be prepared to:
Attend one (1) new volunteer orientation
meeting at the AWGA Office and six (6)
regular Committee meetings annually; which may be attended
via conference call if unable to make it to the office;
commit 8 to 12 hours per month in addition to committee
meetings doing the actual committee work, which can
invovle emailing documents.
Appointments to committee positions are made on an
annual basis.
